Member of LEM’s team 3: Ancient, Medieval and Modern Philosophies and Theologies of the Laboratoire d’études sur les monothéismes (LEM/UMR 8584), Luciana Gabriela Soares Santoprete has been a researcher at the CNRS since 2020. She obtained a PhD in Philosophy at the École Pratique des Hautes Études - Paris (2009) and is a former student of the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa and the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She did post-doctoral research at the Universität Wien with a Lise Meitner scholarship from the FWF - Der Wissenschaftsfonds (2019-2020), at the Institut d’Études Avancées de Paris (2018-2019), at the Trinity College, Plato Centre - Dublin (2018), as well as at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn with a scholarship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2014-2016), at the Institut d’Études Avancées de Nantes (2013-2014) and at the CNRS (Centre Jean Pépin) with a scholarship from the HASTEC Laboratory of Excellence (2012-2013).

– Plotinus’ debate with the Gnostics in the set of Plotinus’ Enneads. Together with Anna van den Kerchove, she is preparing a collective monograph to be published by Brepols ("Bibliothèque de l’École des Hautes Études - Sciences Religieuses").
– Plotinus’ debate with the Gnostics in Plotinus’ Treatise 33 (II, 9). Preparation with Michel Tardieu (Collège de France) of the commented translation of this treatise from the manuscript notes bequeathed by Pierre Hadot. This volume will be published by Vrin ("Les Écrits de Plotin").
– Introduction with state of research and translation into Portuguese of the work of Michel Tardieu and Pierre Hadot ("Recherches sur la formation de l’Apocalypse de Zostrien et les sources de Marius Victorinus suivi de Porphyre et Victorinus. Questions et réponses, Bures-sur-Yvette, 1996).

Program directed by Barbara Cassin (CNRS - Centre Léon Robin - UMR 8061, Paris), Fernando Santoro (UFRJ - Brazil), and Luisa Buarque de Hollanda (PUC-RJ - Brazil) aiming to translate and adapt into Portuguese the work of the same title directed by Barbara Cassin (Seuil, 2004). The Dicionário dos intraduzíveis is being published in different volumes since 2018 by Autêntica Editora.
